Production of unwrought silver or in powder form in Finland: Fall in 2017

The indicator greatly fell by 34.28% compared with the prior year, according to updated statistics announced by European Commission. Silver production decreased strongly by 34 620 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 20.27%. The overall changes for the prior 19 years hit a rise of 116.56%. Still it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.08 percent over the five years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 63 530.42 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 143 960 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 22 821 kilogram in 2001.
