Export of seats with wooden frames not upholstered from Malaysia decreases in 2017

Compared to the year before the variable sharply declined by 49.17%, according to revised statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export strongly diminished from 38 076 312 kilogram in 2016 to 19 354 010 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it increased by 33.23 percent. Malaysia saw a drop of 38.97% in consumer goods export over the past 18 years. Besides, it has shown a decrease at a 0.11% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a modest overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 36 440 831.89 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 52 693 576 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 11 389 576 kilogram in 2003.
