Import of household, hospital and sanitary supplies of paper to Belgium climbs in 2017

Consumer goods import negligibly climbed by 3.09 percent in comparison with the year before, new statistics from United Nations Statistical Office show. The indicator slightly went up from 23 022 828 kilogram to 23 734 434 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 19.85 percent. Belgium saw a raise of 43.44% in consumer goods import during the last 19 years. Furthermore, it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 0.1% during the five years with a slight overall increase since the 1999. It averaged 19 662 234.68 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 26 645 372 kilogram in 2005 and record low of 14 883 080 kilogram in 2013.
