Export of single cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing more than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 714-232 decitex from Guatemala: Fall in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that in comparison with the previous year cotton export greatly fell by 46.6 percent. The variable sharply went down by 1 115 613 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it went up by 63.95 percent. The overall changes for the previous 24 years hit a growth of 310.91%. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.15% compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 3 334 529.83 US Dollar from 1993 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 16 201 448 US Dollar in 2010 and record low of 34 445 US Dollar in 2001.
