Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Hungary: Decline in 2017

Compared to 2016 the indicator went down sharply by 41.63 percent, according to updated figures issued by European Commission. It attained its 17-year low as antibiotic import greatly declined from 507 340 Euro to 296 140 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 49.86 percent. The overall changes for the prior 17 years hit a decline of 95.2%. Besides, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.17 percent over the 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 2 070 206.47 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 6 175 950 Euro in 2001.
