Apartment building permits in Australia: Increase in May 2018

In May 2018 the variable hardly went up by 1.34%, new statistics from Australian National Statistical Office constitute. Building permits barely climbed by 66, compared to the previous month when it dropped by 21.2%. When looking at the year before, it can be announced that the indicator was decreasing by -25.54% and hit 4 272 in May. Between May 2017 and May of the year after, the figures reveal a 16.48% shift. Australia saw a raise of 411.41% in building permits over the past 27 years. In comparison with its average, the building permits is now higher as the mean equals 2 950.64 with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 9 247 in May 2015 and record low of 689 in January 1996.
