Export of fresh raspberry, blackberry, mulberry and loganberry from Ethiopia: Raise in 2016

Berries export climbed sharply by 133.33 percent in comparison with the prior year, according to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator strongly went up from 66 kilogram in 2015 to 154 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it declined by 92.14%. Ethiopia saw a fall of 80.1% in berries export during the last 6 years. Likewise, it has had a drop at a 0.33 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 430.67 kilogram from 2011 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 840 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 66 kilogram in 2015.
