Import of hand-made lace to Jamaica: Drop in 2017

In comparison with the previous year the indicator strongly decreased by 47.35 percent, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Textile import sharply went down from 3 270 kilogram in 2016 to 1 721.71 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it increased by 69.34%. The overall changes for the prior 27 years hit a decrease of 70.9%. Likewise, it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 0.15 percent over the five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 4 564.69 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 20 116 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 234 kilogram in 2014.
