European Commission announced that the indicator increased greatly by 272.69% in comparison with the previous year. Chemical pulp import rose strongly by 42 840 Euro, in contrast to the prior year when it dropped by 83.36%. Slovenia saw a raise of 111.07% in chemical pulp import over the past 17 years. Moreover, it has attained an increase at a 0.37% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall rise since the 2001. It averaged 33 611.18 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 94 420 Euro in 2015 and record low of 150 Euro in 2003.
