Import of women's or girls' waistcoats, anoraks, ski-jackets, wind-cheaters, wind-jackets of knitted or crocheted textiles to Ireland: Rise in 2016

According to figures released by European Commission, compared with the prior year women's clothing import grew by 9.93 percent. Women's clothing import rose from 8 079 280 Euro in 2015 to 8 881 150 Euro previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it declined by 2.16 percent. Ireland saw a rise of 55.01% in women's clothing import over the past 17 years. Besides, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.08% during the five years with a negligible overall decline since the 2000. It averaged 7 026 422.35 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 11 389 590 Euro in 2002 and record low of 3 871 660 Euro in 2008.
