Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Brazil: Decrease in 2017

According to new figures released by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the previous year the variable fell by 6.36 percent. It attained its 18-year minimum as the indicator decreased from 173 to 162, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 13.5 percent. Brazil saw a decline of 2.99% in horses import during the last 18 years. Likewise, it has had a fall at a 0.36 percent CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 1 852.83 from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 24 838 in 2010.
