Gas and diesel refinery output in Papua New Guinea falls in May 2018

Compared to the previous month the indicator diminished by 18.42%, according to numbers issued by JODI Data. Gas and diesel oil production fell by 52.24 thousand barrels, compared with the prior month when it rose by 46.92%. The statistics reached 330.57 thousand barrels in May 2017, which is a 7.48 percent variation in comparison to the prior month of 2017. When considering the year-on-year setting, a -30.01% diminution can be noted between May 2017 and the same month the year after. Papua New Guinea saw a fall of 7.92% in gas and diesel oil production during the last 11 years. It attained its all-time high of 436.33 thousand barrels in March 2017 and record low of 50.04 thousand barrels in October 2014.
