Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Slovenia goes up in 2016

In 2016 construction equipment import strongly went up by 126.96%, according to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator increased sharply by 165 312 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 21.66 percent. Slovenia saw a growth of 371.88% in construction equipment import during the last 23 years. Besides, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.06% during the five years with a modest overall increase since the 1994. It averaged 132 308.87 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 343 404 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 43 066 kilogram in 2001.
