Import of jams, fruit jellies, purees and pastes to Belize declines in 2016

In comparison to the prior year confectionary import went down by 8.58%, according to updated figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable declined from 71 602 US Dollar in 2015 to 65 460 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 49.17%. The overall changes for the previous 25 years hit an increase of 128.26%. Still it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.03% over the last five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 67 057.24 US Dollar from 1992 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 140 879 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 15 502 US Dollar in 1994.
