Export of non-electrical articles of graphite or other carbon from Iceland falls in 2017

In 2017 graphite export decreased strongly by 64.06 percent, new data from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Graphite export sharply declined by 10.89 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 15 percent. Iceland saw a raise of 1.83% in graphite export over the past 21 years. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.19 percent CAGR over the 5 years with a moderate overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 20.77 kilogram from 1997 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 69 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 5 kilogram in 1998.
