According to numbers published by European Commission, flax yarn import went up greatly by 38.98% compared to the prior year. The indicator strongly climbed from 35 400 kilogram to 49 200 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it decreased by 6.6%. Finland saw a decrease of 31% in flax yarn import during the last 15 years. Moreover, it has attained the CAGR of 0.05 percent during the last five years with a slight overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 53 253.33 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 89 400 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 35 400 kilogram in 2016.
