Import of provisionally preserved olives to Guyana declines in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that olives import sharply went down by 54.38 percent in 2016. The variable declined greatly from 10 196 kilogram in 2015 to 4 651 kilogram prior year, in comparison with the previous year when it rose by 55.14%. Guyana saw a rise of 8 675.47% in olives import during the last 26 years. Still it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.04 percent over the last 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 2 355.04 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 10 196 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 53 kilogram in 1991.
