Gas and diesel receipts in United States goes down in April 2018

Gas and diesel oil receipts declined sharply by 32.36% in comparison with March 2018, revised numbers from JODI Data highlight. The indicator strongly dropped from 4 057 thousand barrels to 2 744 thousand barrels, contrarily to the prior month when it climbed by 73.38%. The same month one year earlier, the variable went up by 1.42% and hit 2 000 thousand barrels. Between April 2017 and the same month one year later, the figures present a 37.2 percent variation. United States saw a rise of 38.38% in gas and diesel oil receipts during the last 4 years. In comparison to its average, the gas and diesel oil receipts is now higher as the mean equals 2 698.08 thousand barrels with a marginal overall decrease since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 4 401 thousand barrels in July 2015 and record low of 1 661 thousand barrels in December 2017.
