Import of live pure-bred breeding swine to El Salvador grows in 2017

Swine import climbed by 27.28% in comparison to the previous year, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. The variable went up from 140 464 US Dollar in 2016 to 178 776 US Dollar prior year, compared with the previous year when it went down by 25.13 percent. The overall changes for the prior 24 years attained an increase of 992.36%. Still it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 111 390.58 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 407 904 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 10 773 US Dollar in 1997.
