Import of frozen whole sole to Bulgaria: Decline in 2016

Frozen sole import greatly decreased by 98 percent in comparison with the previous year, according to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Frozen sole import declined strongly from 1 247 kilogram in 2015 to 25 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 31.97 percent. Bulgaria saw a decrease of 99.59% in frozen sole import during the last 21 years. As well as it has attained a diminution at a 0.67 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the 1996. It averaged 1 298.48 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 6 461 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 10 kilogram in 2008.
