Export of heparin for therapeutic use from Hong Kong: Fall in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that pharmaceutical export dropped strongly by 82.27% in comparison to the previous year. Pharmaceutical export greatly declined by 4 226 945.19 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it went up by 0.03%. The overall changes for the previous 25 years hit a diminution of 67.86%. Moreover, it has had a 0.16% compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall rise since the 1993. It averaged 1 134 307.59 US Dollar from 1993 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 137 966 US Dollar in 2016 and record low of 12 948 US Dollar in 2005.
