Fuel oil import in France climbs in May 2018

In comparison with the previous month the indicator grew by 14.77 percent, adjusted data from JODI Data constitute. Fuel oil import went up by 57 thousand tonnes, versus the prior month when it declined by 9.6%. The prior year, the variable was dropping by -20.12 percent and reached 266 thousand tonnes in May of the year before. Between May 2017 and May of the year after, the figures reveal a 66.54 percent shift. France saw a raise of 91.77% in fuel oil import during the last 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil import is now greater than its average which equals 402.84 thousand tonnes with a overall increase since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 897 thousand tonnes in March 2008 and record low of 65 thousand tonnes in January 2003.
