Export of fresh or chilled whole salmonidae from Norway grows in 2016

Compared to the previous year export of fresh or chilled whole salmonidae rose sharply by 86.78%, according to refreshed statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable went up strongly by 24 981 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 61.7 percent. Norway saw a decline of 60.23% in export of fresh or chilled whole salmonidae over the past 24 years. Moreover, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.37 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 5 871 434.79 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 35 469 440 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 11 154 kilogram in 2012.
