Export of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn more than 714 decitex from Hong Kong declines in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that the indicator declined by 23.88 percent in 2017. Cotton export diminished from 770 520 kilogram in 2016 to 586 513 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 17.46%. Hong Kong saw a raise of 1 473.1% in cotton export over the past 25 years. As well as it has had a rise at a 0.22 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 582 661.08 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 9 184 496 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 12 187 kilogram in 1994.
