Re-export of copper and copper alloy waste or scrap from Hong Kong increases in 2017

According to updated numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable greatly increased by 37.99% in comparison to the same time an year ago. Copper export strongly went up from 37 719 732 kilogram to 52 049 376 kilogram, versus the previous year when it declined by 32.2 percent. The overall changes for the prior 25 years reached a diminution of 43.8%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.15% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 100 267 519.04 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 281 457 984 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 26 257 640 kilogram in 2013.
