New vehicles registrations in Senegal falls in 2017

Compared with the prior year vehicle registration negligibly fell by 1.27%, according to revised numbers published by OICA. Vehicle registration diminished slightly from 6 600 to 6 516, compared to the previous year when it climbed by 13.79 percent. The overall changes for the prior 13 years hit an increase of 18.47%. Besides, it has shown a growth at a 0.02 percent CAGR over the last five years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 6 247.38 from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 7 000 in 2008 and record low of 5 500 in 2011.
