Peanut consumption in Zimbabwe remains unchanged in 2017

U.S. Department of Agriculture reported that peanut consumption didn't change in comparison with the prior year. The peanut consumption was 101 thousand tonnes, for the 3rd consecutive year. Zimbabwe saw an increase of 36.49% in peanut consumption over the past 46 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.08 percent CAGR during the last 5 years with a overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 105.28 thousand tonnes from 1972 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 231 thousand tonnes in 2010 and record low of 40 thousand tonnes in 1983.
