Export of cellulose ethers from Mauritius: Rise in 2016

According to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the prior year the indicator greatly increased by 150 percent. Export of cellulose ethers went up sharply by 300 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 166.67%. Mauritius saw a diminution of 37.19% in export of cellulose ethers during the last 17 years. Likewise, it has shown a growth at a 0.04 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 490.29 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 435 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 5 kilogram in 2008.
