Commercial vehicles in use in Switzerland: Increase in 2017

OICA reported that the variable grew barely by 2.47% in 2017. Commercial vehicles in use slightly increased from 431.26 thousand units to 441.9 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 2.53%. It attained its 13-year maximum. The overall changes for the prior 13 years hit an increase of 31.52%. Furthermore, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.02% over the five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 382.9 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 336 thousand units in 2005.
