Import of dried shelled leguminous vegetables to Kuwait falls in 2017
Legumes import dropped by 21.98 percent in comparison with the previous year, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. The indicator decreased by 1 605 034 US Dollar, versus the previous year when it went up by 59.05 percent. Kuwait saw an increase of 399.48% in legumes import over the past 18 years. Moreover, it has had the CAGR of 0.16% during the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 2 391 947.33 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 7 302 890 US Dollar in 2016 and record low of 1 140 764 US Dollar in 2000.
