Export of peat from Greece: Increase in 2016

The variable increased by 17.42 percent in comparison with the previous year, according to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. It's the highest number ever observed since 1988 as export of peat grew from 2 911 209 kilogram to 3 418 307 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 56.75%. Greece saw a rise of 32 847.54% in export of peat over the past 29 years. Furthermore, it has had an increase at a 0.27 percent CAGR during the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 692 577.41 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it reached its minimum of 2 875 kilogram in 1997.
