Export of live eels from United States: Diminution in 2016

In comparison to 2015 export of live eels slightly decreased by 1.49 percent, adjusted figures from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The indicator hardly fell by 16 649 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 5.65 percent. United States saw an increase of 42.8% in export of live eels during the last 23 years. As well as it has had a raise at a 0.12 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 513 922.48 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 181 001 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 189 860 kilogram in 1999.
