Import of sesamum seeds to Peru declines in 2016

In 2016 import of sesamum seeds dropped greatly by 33.07%, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Import of sesamum seeds strongly diminished from 1 347 978 kilogram to 902 268 kilogram, versus the prior year when it went up by 54.43 percent. The overall changes for the previous 25 years attained an increase of 2 328.65%. As well as it has shown a growth at a 0.1 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall rise since the 1992. It averaged 420 523.2 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 347 978 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 11 087 kilogram in 1997.
