Copper smelter production in Philippines increases in 2015

The indicator climbed by 23.53% in 2015, refreshed figures from U.S. Geological Survey pinpoint. Copper production grew from 153 000 metric ton in 2014 to 189 000 metric ton previous year, compared to the prior year when it dropped by 15.89 percent. Philippines saw a raise of 16.96% in copper production over the past 18 years. Still it has shown a decrease at a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a moderate overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 181 522.22 metric ton from 1998 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 239 700 metric ton in 2008 and record low of 97 000 metric ton in 2012.
