Copper smelter production in Philippines climbs in 2015

In 2015 the variable went up by 23.53%, according to adjusted statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator rose from 153 000 metric ton to 189 000 metric ton, compared with the previous year when it decreased by 15.89 percent. The overall changes for the prior 18 years reached a raise of 16.96%. However, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent during the last five years with a moderate overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 181 522.22 metric ton from 1998 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 239 700 metric ton in 2008 and record low of 97 000 metric ton in 2012.
