Fuel oil demand in Netherlands: Growth in May 2018

According to figures published by JODI Data, in May 2018 the indicator increased hardly by 0.38 percent. Fuel oil demand grew barely from 5 037.45 thousand barrels to 5 056.8 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it climbed by 11.25 percent. One year earlier, the variable was growing by 3.07 percent and reached 5 411.55 thousand barrels in May of the year before. Between May 2017 and May of the year after, the data indicate a -6.56% variation. Netherlands saw a decline of 25.69% in fuel oil demand during the last 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil demand is now lower than its average which equals 6 825.28 thousand barrels with a negligible overall fall since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 9 862.05 thousand barrels in July 2006 and record low of 4 198.95 thousand barrels in February 2017.
