Import of starch wheat to Peru declines in 2016

Starch wheat import diminished greatly by 50.16% compared with the prior year, updated data from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. Starch wheat import strongly went down by 98 876 kilogram, compared to the previous year when it went up by 15.11%. Peru saw a rise of 909.62% in starch wheat import over the past 25 years. Still it has shown a diminution at a 0.15% CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 41 220.6 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 226 747 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 955 kilogram in 1996.
