Sales of animal fats and oils in Germany rises in 2016

In comparison to the same time a year ago animal fat sales grew by 28.22%, according to figures published by European Commission. It indicates the all-time high since 1995 as animal fat sales climbed by 59 554 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 3.97 percent. Germany saw a raise of 140.15% in animal fat sales over the past 22 years. Furthermore, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.14% over the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 129 584.68 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 87 894 thousand kilograms in 2004.
