Chromium consumption in Taiwan: Fall in 2015

U.S. Geological Survey published that the indicator fell slightly by 0.69 percent in 2015. It hit its 13-year low as the variable negligibly diminished by 1 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 8.28 percent. Taiwan saw a drop of 40.66% in chromium consumption over the past 13 years. Moreover, it has attained a decrease at a 0.02% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a modest overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 164.54 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it reached its maximum of 241 thousand tonnes in 2003.
