Import of frozen carcases, half-carcases, quarters and cuts of beef and veal to Malta increases in 2017

According to data published by European Commission, the indicator barely rose by 2.87 percent in 2017. Beef meat import grew hardly by 584 660 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 3.24%. Malta saw an increase of 26.21% in beef meat import during the last 15 years. As well as it has had the CAGR of 0.01% over the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 19 563 244.67 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 23 555 890 Euro in 2008 and record low of 16 627 120 Euro in 2003.
