Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Lithuania falls in 2017

The variable sharply went down by 52.65 percent compared to the previous year, according to refreshed numbers issued by European Commission. Yarn import strongly declined by 290 000 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 38.81 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years hit a diminution of 47.24%. Likewise, it has shown a fall at a 0.03 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 523 686.67 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 900 200 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 233 500 kilogram in 2012.
