Import of hybrid integrated circuits to Philippines: Growth in 2017

According to refreshed statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 the variable strongly climbed by 448.42%. Electronic component import greatly increased from 361 kilogram in 2016 to 1 979.79 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it declined by 87.22 percent. The overall changes for the prior 22 years hit a drop of 95.45%. Besides, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.2% over the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 24 216.58 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 70 514 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 361 kilogram in 2016.
