Import of edible fruit or nut tree, shrubs and bushes to Lithuania: Growth in 2017

Import of edible fruit or nut tree, shrubs and bushes sharply rose by 82.56 percent in comparison with the prior year, new statistics from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. It illustrates the all-time maximum since 1994 as import of edible fruit or nut tree, shrubs and bushes went up greatly by 1 288 317 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 199.77%. Lithuania saw an increase of 108 425.3% in import of edible fruit or nut tree, shrubs and bushes over the past 24 years. Moreover, it has shown a 1.09 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a modest overall rise since the 1994. It averaged 276 900.21 kilogram from 1994 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 2 625 kilogram in 1994.
