Import of medicaments of alkaloids or derivatives thereof not packaged for retail sale to Latvia: Rise in 2017

According to revised statistics issued by European Commission, the indicator rose by 5.28% compared to 2016. Alkaloid import climbed by 9 760 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 3.13%. It pinpoints the all-time peak since 2008. Latvia saw a growth of 9 989.64% in alkaloid import during the last 10 years. Likewise, it has had a 0.09 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall rise since the 2008. It averaged 82 839 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 1 470 Euro in 2012.
