Import of flax yarn not packaged for retail sale to Ireland drops in 2017

Compared to the year before flax yarn import fell by 10.39 percent, according to refreshed figures issued by European Commission. The indicator declined from 47 250 Euro to 42 340 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 66.72 percent. It reveals the all-time minimum since 2003. The overall changes for the previous 15 years reached a drop of 96.89%. Besides, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.36% during the last 5 years with a slight overall fall since the 2003. It averaged 327 874.67 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 1 363 010 Euro in 2003.
