Vehicles production in Uzbekistan: Rise in 2017

Vehicle production strongly climbed by 59.1% in 2017, according to updated statistics issued by OICA. The variable increased greatly from 88 152 in 2016 to 140 247 previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it declined by 52.45 percent. Uzbekistan saw a raise of 133.75% in vehicle production during the last 21 years. However, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.11 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the 1997. It averaged 120 135.24 from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 246 641 in 2013 and record low of 29 554 in 2002.
