Flax yarn export grew strongly by 154.17% in comparison with the same time an year ago, revised figures from European Commission constitute. Flax yarn export greatly climbed from 2 400 kilogram in 2015 to 6 100 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 84.62%. The overall changes for the prior 12 years hit a growth of 6 000%. Likewise, it has attained a 0.29% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 5 741.67 kilogram from 2005 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 38 600 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 100 kilogram in 2005.
