Import of dried grapes to Egypt falls in 2017

The indicator greatly diminished by 35.68 percent compared to the previous year, adjusted statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Grapes import sharply decreased by 1 708 826.5 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 38.45 percent. The overall changes for the previous 24 years reached a raise of 74.9%. Still it has shown a drop at a 0.14% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 3 447 892.52 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 8 330 048 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 763 718 US Dollar in 2005.
