Refined lead production in Kazakhstan: Increase in 2014

Lead production rose strongly by 40% compared with the previous year, refreshed numbers from U.S. Geological Survey demonstrate. The indicator went up sharply from 90 000 metric ton to 126 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 2.16 percent. Kazakhstan saw a rise of 6.21% in lead production during the last 17 years. Besides, it has shown a 0.04 percent compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 126 435.59 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its all-time high of 185 800 metric ton in 2000 and record low of 80 994 metric ton in 2009.
