Chromium consumption in Belgium: Rise in 2015

In comparison with the previous year chromium consumption climbed by 10.22 percent, new figures from U.S. Geological Survey demonstrate. The variable grew from 137 thousand tonnes in 2014 to 151 thousand tonnes prior year, versus the previous year when it fell by 15.43%. The overall changes for the prior 13 years reached a raise of 51%. Likewise, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.04 percent over the 5 years with a sharp overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 143.11 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 227 thousand tonnes in 2007 and record low of 100 thousand tonnes in 2003.
