Lead in concentrates production in Bolivia falls in 2016

Compared to 2015 the indicator went down barely by 2.44%, new statistics from U.S. Geological Survey show. Lead production declined slightly from 82 000 metric ton to 80 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 12.77%. Bolivia saw a rise of 477.7% in lead production during the last 19 years. Besides, the lead production is now above average of 46 015.95 metric ton and the variable indicates a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 100 051 metric ton in 2011 and record low of 8 857 metric ton in 2001.
